Madison Township Leaf Pick-Up scheduled to start November 9, 2015 starting on the West side, then working East ONLY ONE PICK-UP WILL BE MADE To insure that your leaves will be picked up, please follow these guidelines.
1. Leaves must be raked within 5 feet of the edge of the roadway in a long row. Do NOT rake them into one large pile.
2. Do NOT pile leaves in or behind open ditches.
3. Only leaves will be picked up, No nuts, branches, brush, grass or corn shocks.
4. Do NOT put leaves in bags or piles within 10 feet of your mailbox, sign post or within 50 feet of a dead end road.
5. Leaves located more than 5 feet off the roadway will NOT be picked up.
6. Leaves piled in ditches or more than 5 feet off the roadway will NOT be picked up.

If you have a catch basin or storm drain in front of your property, please help us and keep them open by removing any debris. We appreciate your help.
TOWN HALL MEETINGS will be held on the third Thursday each quarter January, April, July, and October at 7PM. The town hall meeting will allow citizens to discuss and input their concerns and ideas for the future of Madison Township.

The Madison Township trustees are looking for citizens to serve on the Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. These positions meet in the evenings and do not require a great deal of time. However, these positions are very important as the decisions you make will have a direct impact on your community. Please address your request to serve to the Board of Madison Township Trustees, P.O. Madison Township is one of the eighteen townships of Richland County, or one of 1,308 Townships in Ohio. Townships are a political subdivision of the state. The officials that administer the townships are made up of three trustees and a fiscal officer, each elected to a four-year term. These elected officials fill their roles on a part-time basis. Madison Township is a part of the Mansfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 2010 census found 11,168 (a 23.9% decline since 2000) people living in the township. Madison Township is again the county’s most populous township in 2013 with 10,957 residents (another 2% decline since 2010).
