Married to Bridget for 35 years , has three grown children, Tobin, Davida, and Anne, all graduates of Madison Comprehensive High School.
Education: Graduated High School from Camden Preble Shawnee in 1969., Capital University 1974 BA, and Ohio University 1976 MED.
Occupation: Retired in 2006 after 30 years employment with Madison Local Schools. Coached varsity soccer from 1990 to 2002 where the team won Regional in 1992, Districts in 1992 and 2000. Voted Ohio Divisional I coach of the year in 1993. Started Ram Booster Bingo in 1990.
Business: Owned MJM Video from 1986 to 1999. Started a vineyard in 2003 and have over 2,000 vines planted.
Professional Organizations: Vice Chairman of the Richland County GIS Consortium, Madison Township representative for the Richland County Regional Planning Commission, member of the Ohio Township Association, member of Richland County Transit Board, and member of the Ohio Farm Bureau.
Other Organizations: National Rifle Association, and the Ashland County Coonhunters Association.
